Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Jesus!
Harris is totally excited about today being Jesus’ Birthday!!! We made a cake last night and later on tonight will be going to a friend’s home for the Birthday Party. He said he is going to sing a song for Jesus’ present. He has been practicing “Jesus Loves Me.” It ought to be good as long as Harris doesn’t turn shy all of the sudden.
There is an answer to the question of “What will I get for Christmas” in our household today….
Harris was blessed by the presents he received from those near and far….
Ecstatic is definitely a word to describe Harris this morning. He received a game he really wanted from Papa, Scottish Bagpipes from Mama, a St. Andrews Flag from Grandparents in Wisconsin, and a Recorder from Grandparents in Michigan. He can actually play the Recorder with ease and with a little help from Mama has been able to play the chanter on his bagpipes! He was so happy in the middle of opening presents he had to run to the pinano (his pronunciation) and play it for about 5 minutes. Music has filled our home this morning. From the gifts for Harris to ‘Celtic Women’ CD and ‘MPK Christmas’ CD we have been bathed in music.
